Talent Pool
The talent pool in and around MTP is continuously and generously replenished by the largest concentration of young and educated thinkers in Europe. In the Midlands alone, there are 50 tech-related centres of excellence and 12 leading research universities producing 66,000 graduates each year.
On a regional level, there is a total of 800,000 students within a 80 mile radius extending to Manchester, Birmingham, Oxford, Nottingham, Cambridge, Sheffield and Leicester.

At the Park, we are very proud to host the MIRA Technology Institute, a specialist facility training the next generation of young engineers in the latest automotive technologies including electrification and driverless cars. The institute offers businesses an on-site learning and development capability backed by HORIBA MIRA, North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College, plus three leading technology universities, Coventry University, the University of Leicester, and Loughborough University.
Additionally, the long-standing Midlands reputation for cultivating applied innovation and advanced manufacturing has contributed a new and diverse array of digital competencies such as 5G testbeds, fintech software, gaming and AI.
